HMT User Account

All services with single sign-on

You will be provided with a HMT user account when you get enrolled at the
university (students) or hired (lecturers or employees). All information on that will be sent to your private email address. 

 

Your username consists of the first letter of your first name and the first letter of your last name, followed by a random combination of two numbers and four alphabetic characters.

 

You will need your HMT user account to login to all provided IT services: email, Wi-Fi, moodle as well as access to online library catalogs.

Please make sure to change your initial password before first-time use of those services.

Forgot your password?

Please send an email to helpdesk@hmt-leipzig.de and include your full name and HMT user account name. Your password will be reset to a temporary one. You will receive all information about that to your private email account. Please make sure to change your temporary password before using any IT service.

Your private email address has changed?

Please contact registrar's office (in case of student) or personnel office (in case of lecturers or employee) to inform them about your new private email address.
